1923 Hispano Suiza Stork Car Mascot, Hood Ornament
(Move down to see further photographs)
Hispano Suiza Flying Stork by Frederick Bazin, 1923. Beautifully finished in its original silvered bronze, fantastic original example. Signed on the top of the base and numbered under the base. It amazingly still has its original radiator cap intact. Photographed and described in Michel Legrand book 'Mascottes Automobiles' Plate 888. It would be extremely hard to locate another example as good as this beauty.
Dimensions : 215mm long.
Condition : Absolutely first class, great patina of age. Excellent crisp detail, with a beautiful clear signature and the HS number under the base. The wing holding rivet are clearly visible.
