Gregoire, 'Archer Egyptienne', (Egyptian Archer) mascot c.1917, made by M.Guiraud Riviere in Cire Perdue (Lost Wax). This is a unique mascot, as it was cast by the sculptor in solid silver, it is unique, massive and extremely imposing. This is the finest example of this rare piece in existence, and definately one for the advanced serious mascot collector.
Dimensions : 170 mm high.
Condition : Absolutely amazing condition, the definition of the signature of M.Guiraud Riviere is absolutely outstanding. The arrow and bow are totally original and the lovely honest patination of over 80 years is a joy to behold. Mounted on a wooden display base.
