20th April 1929
Catalogue No. :
1158
Dimensions :
90mm high.

Condition :
Pristine totally correct and original 1929 condition without chips, grinding or mould flaws. Especially fine detail everywhere with delicate moulding to the scales. The opalescence is especially deep and striking, incorporating blue, with amber and white hues. This gives an extra dimension to this piece- surely the most perfect colour combination for this subject from René Lalique. Normal light surface scratches under the base, totally commensurate with the age of the piece. The signatures are well defined, the moulding line is beautifully intact and unbroken around the delicate fins.
