Eagle's Head, clear and frosted glass mascot by René Lalique. 'R.LALIQUE' moulded signature in relief in a parting between the lower neck feathers, immediately above the mounting base, also 'FRANCE' is moulded in relief in another parting of the lower neck feathers above the base on the opposite side. N.B. All Pre WWII versions were only ever marked in this way. It is now becoming increasingly difficult to find superb untouched examples.

Condition :
Absolutely superb condition. Condition totally commensurate with the age of the piece, no internal flaws or unsigntly air bubbles. Condition is totally commensurate with the age of the piece. Many of these mascots have beaks and bases that have been cut down and restored. The beak on this mascot is it's full length, the base is is correct thickness, the moulding detail is exceptional.
