1930 Lalique Grey Boar Glass Car Mascot, Hood Ornament

French Name : Sanglier
Boar mascot by René Lalique. Very dark grey almost black glass. c.1929-39. Moulded R.Lalique between legs, plus R.Lalique stencilled signature under base. Extremely rare in this colour. Normally this piece is produced in clear and frosted glass. This piece is sold as 100% original, and 1930's manufacture.
First Introduced : 3rd October 1929       Catalogue No. : 1157       Dimensions : 93mm long 90mm high.
Condition : Superb condition, minute chip on edge of snout, few normal wear scratches under base. Condition commensurate with the age of the piece.
