French Name : Six Figurines et Masques
A very early clear and frosted, dark grey/green stained vase depicting six nude women rising upwards from the flames of hell, represented by the lusting horned smiling satyr faces. c.1912. Each of the six figures are in totally different stances. Intaglio moulded mark R.Lalique under base, dating the piece to very early production. Examples of this vase are now extremely hard to locate. Simply a fantastic creation from the fertile mind of the true master of glass - René Lalique.
First Introduced : 1912       Catalogue No. : 886       Dimension : 240mm high.
Condition : Absolutely pristine condition, excellent detail, with original staining giving wonderful effect to the figures. The satyr faces are exceptionally well defined. No moulding flaws, chips or grinding whatsoever.
