French Name : Coquelicot
'Coquelicot', a clear and enamelled heavy glass decanter service. Comprising of a bulbous decanter and stopper, six tumblers and circular tray, each moulded in low relief with stylised black enamelled floral motifs, moulded R.Lalique, etched R. Lalique France, Stencilled mark R.Lalique, France. Decanter 16.5cms high. It is extremely rare to find a set in such fine condition, complete with the original tray, and this set is recorded in Felix Marchilhac - René Lalique, L’Oeuvre de Verre, number 3175, page 745.
First Introduced : 8th May 1930       Catalogue No. : 3175       Dimensions : 170mm total height.
Condition : Superb condition without chips or grinding.
