1924 Lalique Opalescent Glass Budgerigar Vase

French Name : Ceylan
René Lalique vase depicting four pairs of Budgerigars, their tails stretching down the vase. Created in really deep blue/white/amber opalescent glass, additionally highlighted with the original green staining in the background branches. This fantastic piece was one of Lalique's most famous vases and this lovely example is in really excellent condition. Marked with etched R.Lalique France under the base.
First Introduced : 16th May 1924       Catalogue No. : 905
Dimensions : 243mm high, 80mm base diameter, 132mm top rim diameter, 12mm top rim band width, 6mm rim thickness.
Condition : Superb totally correct and original condition. Usual wear scratches under base caused from honest years of use. A few internal air bubbles totally commensurate with the manufacture of the piece. No chips, flaws, or moulding imperfections. There is absolutely no grinding or restoration whatsoever to this magnificent vase.
