There have been quite a few Mickey Mouse designs over the years, but the haughty expression and ‘thumbs up’ pose on this design is my personal favourite. I was also incidentally involved in a great Sotheby’s sale room battle many years ago to secure this great rarity against stiff opposition from around the world.
